9 to 5 nightmare.. Just show them something beautiful
Thant reminds them of what we truly are
And what we could really be

I want to connect all the scattered pieces
Gather the missing links that seek allegiance
Align the isolated, fresh shine for eyes faded
Make a path for the afraid and their related
I want you to see its easier than breathing
To leave all your pain that you think you’ve been needing
No need to cling to beliefs that are impeding
Your importance to a collective heart beating

We are all in this together
Whether or not you acknowledge the tether
That ties and binds us - birds of feather

We tamper with mental tendencies
and maladies - adapting to
Tragedy, calamity, insanity

I’m usually not the type to write out and give a speech
But if I have something to say I might as well start to preach

You say you are free but I hear your chains rattle
Walking to and from no different than a common cattle
Somethings wrong if you don’t know its a battle
For your mind and soul so find a way to stay agile

Take your house and cars and kids so easily from you

So keep telling me about your liberation
when you’re in a prison nation

And the Empathy is lost in these monsters
Honestly I’m convinced they have no conscience
Constantly crossing boundaries no one should ever reach
With all that money they probably feel like everyone is the enemy

they hire entire armies to keep us tired on our knees
legions of swat teams, federals and the police
Any civil unrest is a punishable crime
Just Keep your head down off the radar and in line
You have the right to remain silent, if you’re violent
They will silence you, open fire with no chance to make it though
